“The eyes of the world are upon us.”  John Winthrop stated this ever so blatantly in his City Upon a Hill speech to Puritans setting foot in the New World.  Today, the statement still rings true.  Since the armistice that halted the Korean War in the 1950’s, North Korea has become an isolationist nation.  Within the last decade, North Korea has undergone a process of developing nuclear power.  Meanwhile, the United States has allied itself with South Korea, who themselves have seen increased tension with North Korea over recent years.  Just in the last week, North Korea’s leader, Kim-Jong Un, has ordered missiles to be positioned within range of American territories (Guam).  In response, U.S. military forces have undergone air-strike drills over Korean land with the South Korean military.  The question then, is, what would you advise President Obama to do?  Your response can go any direction, so long as you provide justification for you suggestion.  Address these questions/thoughts in your response:

1. How you would suggest the president approach North Korea, and why?
2. What potential consequences might arise as a result of following this advice?
3. Overall,
